Back to Field: The Zhang Family's Tomb-Raiding History, Exposed

The latest season of Mushroom House begins filming at the foot of a green mountain in Changsha.

The crew comes across a young boy who has been bitten by a many-banded krait and is riding a huge dog fiercer than a wolf.

At the boy's invitation, they head to the Zhang family residence deep in the mountains.

The scene inside leaves them utterly stunned!

How did an eight-meter-tall half-body statue of a giant Buddha end up in the courtyard?

Dozens of empty coffins in the rooms send chills down their spines!

The clutter room is filled with Luoyang shovels, compasses, black donkey hooves, and other strange, mysterious things, bringing to mind the many legends about the Changsha tomb raiders...

As they delve deeper,

the veil of mystery surrounding the Old Nine Gates, the Zhang family, and other ancient tomb-raiding clans is slowly lifted…
