Synopsis

Bai Yu transmigrates to a parallel world and becomes a young director at a TV station in Shanghai.

The station's executives assign him the task of shooting a modern romance drama.

At first, Bai Yu plans to pick any old script just to get it over with.

But then his System activates, directly gifting him master-level directing skills and the complete scripts for all three seasons of Soul Ferry.

Executive: "I asked you to shoot a romance. What's with the female ghost in the film?"

Viewer: "I was scared shitless, and you call this a romance?"

Horror director: "You're a romance director. Could you stop stealing our jobs?"

Bai Yu protests that he's been wronged: "I really am making a romance. Who says a romance can't be supernatural?"

Then one day, a stunning woman calling herself A Cha comes to audition for the female lead, and Bai Yu is dumbfounded...
