Back to 1997: Starting with the Hong Kong Garrison

In 1997, Hong Kong returned to China, and the whole nation celebrated. Chen Ming had just transmigrated and become a regiment commander when he received a formidable mission: lead the first advance unit into Hong Kong.

At the time, Hong Kong was in chaos, with gangs everywhere and British holdouts deliberately stirring up trouble. As the first advance unit to enter Hong Kong, they were bound to face all kinds of thorny challenges.

Fortunately, the God-Tier Commander System activated. Under the watchful eyes of people from all sides, Chen Ming established a foothold in Hong Kong.

“Gangs are disrupting public order in Hong Kong? Easy! I've got a team of elite undercover agents ready to take them down from within!”

“British holdouts are conspiring with all sorts of people to pull shady tricks? Easy! Just send in the tanks and **!”

“Our hardline tactics have earned us a barrage of media criticism? Easy! We'll invest in a few movies to portray our Chinese garrison in Hong Kong in a positive light!”

In just a few short years, Hong Kong left its troubles behind. Public order stabilized, and the city flourished. After earning one achievement after another, Chen Ming was promoted to commander of the garrison in Hong Kong, becoming China's youngest general.
