From the Start, the System Takes Me Dumpster Diving

A game headset that had previously existed only in theory appeared out of nowhere. Wearing it let people enter another strange, unknown world, though no one realized this would shatter the peace that had reigned on Chuyuan Star.

When hideous monsters poured out of spatial gates in the skies above cities everywhere, the powerful firearms developed by various nations proved far less effective than expected.

Anxious thoughts surfaced in everyone's mind: "This world is doomed. Can we hold them off?"

Before long, however, warriors wearing all kinds of flamboyant headsets and strange armor rose to stand before the civilians, fighting desperately against the oncoming savage tide of beasts.

A young man in heavy black armor and his friends gradually uncover the truth behind the "game."
