Zhu Yuanzhang: I Reopen the Silk Road, You Conquer the West

During the Hongwu era, Zhu Yuanzhang established the Court of the Imperial Stud and the Tea and Horse Office to manage the Ming's horses, trading tea for horses in the northwest.

Prince of Shu Zhu Chun petitioned him directly to restore the Silk Road, boldly declaring that within one year, taxes would bring in ten thousand gold; within three years, fifty thousand; and within ten years, everyone who had heard of the Ming would bow down and submit!

The civil and military officials were aghast, but Zhu Yuanzhang paid it no mind!

A year later, countless pieces of amber and jade were delivered to the Ming!

Three years later, the western nations had all become the Ming's beasts of burden!

And ten years later, all the lands under heaven belonged to Huaxia!

Father, now tell me, was your son wrong?
