After Ascending, You Tell Me This Is Journey to the West?

“After ascending, you have two choices.”

“You can join the Celestial Court as an official deity, or register as an independent cultivator.”

“Which do you choose?”

Becoming an official deity means getting a government position in the Celestial Court.

Qin Changying decisively chooses to become an official deity, never expecting to step straight into a Journey to the West world where the myriad realms compete and countless races shed blood.

The Tathagata says, “People fight for a breath of pride, while Buddhas are sustained by incense. The Journey to the West must succeed!”

No way. The Journey to the West is never going to happen. Not ever!

After awakening the Strongest Cultivation System, Qin Changying establishes a cultivation academy and steps up to become the vanguard against Buddhism.

From that moment on, the Journey to the West falls apart!

The Jade Emperor says, “Monkey, you eat my food and use my things. How dare you defy your superiors and cause havoc in the Celestial Palace?”

Jieyin and Zhunti say, “Changying, you despicable wretch! We minded our own business, so why did you overturn the world's order and sabotage the spread of Buddhism...? Dao Ancestor, come out and do us justice!”

Hongjun looks utterly exasperated. “I'm just the Heavenly Dao's chief administrator. Don't come to me with your problems, and definitely don't come to me when there aren't any!”
