Falling Leaves Never Fall

"Mm..." Bai Luoluo slowly opened her eyes, rubbing her head as she sat up. "Shao Wen! Shao Wen!" Shao Wen's breathing was faint. "Luoluo, looks like... I... I'm going to have to... give you back to Gu Ye." "Shao Wen!!" Shao Wen had stopped breathing. Bai Luoluo looked up at the slope they had tumbled down. Shao Wen had risked his life to save her. She buried him at the foot of the slope, then dragged herself along the riverbank, pulling her exhausted body onward. The day's events had drained all her strength, and she collapsed in front of a farmhouse.
