Bilingual Livestream Selling: I Gave My Knowledge to the Nation

After losing his job as a teacher, Dong Xiaohui becomes a bilingual livestream sales host when his company changes direction.

Even when he's selling vegetables, Dong Xiaohui wants to share knowledge, and to offer poetry and far-off dreams.

While you're memorizing vocabulary, cod off the coast of Alaska are leaping from the water;

while you're doing math, seabirds in the South Pacific are skimming over the shore;

while you're studying late, the polar circles are ablaze with color.

His viewers are stunned. Teacher Dong is a true polymath, a walking encyclopedia who knows a little about everything.

"Don't make it sound so nice. Teacher Dong is still an internet celebrity. We should be paying attention to scientists, not influencers. If you're so capable, draw us the blueprints for a lithography machine."

Dong Xiaohui immediately draws the design plans for a 5 nm lithography machine on the blackboard. The whole internet explodes, and even the country's top leadership is shaken.

Dong Xiaohui politely declines an invitation to become an academician at the Dragon Academy of Sciences, choosing to keep working as a livestream sales host.

"Is this really a class I'm qualified to attend? Teacher, why not draw the blueprints for an F-22 Raptor too?"

The Dragon Academy of Sciences academicians place orders as a group. Whatever Teacher Dong sells, we'll buy. We're happy to pay for knowledge.
