Hong Kong Films: You Think You’re Worthy of Joining Hung Hing?

Gu Tianyao transmigrates to a world where Hong Kong crime dramas have all merged, and from the start, he proudly becomes an undercover cop, a double agent.

But just after he goes undercover, the one superior who knows his identity dies.

Well, that’s that. He can’t be a police officer anymore. To survive, he’ll have to join a gang and make money.

“This world is all about money. If you have it, you’re a handsome young man. If you don’t, you’re a nobody.”

“I can’t be a cop, but I don’t want to be a nobody either. So I’m going to make money and become a landed gentleman!”

He joins the Wo Shing Wo, whose boss is Big D. He falls out with Chan Ho-nam, gets Kwun killed, and helps the Wo Shing Wo grow stronger. But Big D is beaten to death by Lok after going fishing without a helmet.

With Big D dead, Gu Tianyao, who has made enormous contributions to the Wo Shing Wo, is pushed aside by Lok.

If you’ve treated me unjustly, don’t blame me for being ruthless. He leaves the Wo Shing Wo and prepares to join another gang.

That’s when the Hung Hing come to recruit him.

“You want me to join Hung Hing? You think you’re worthy!”
