Showbiz: My War Movie Past Was Exposed on Back to Field

Season 6 of Back to Field has begun airing.

Every morning, the sound of a bugle rings out across the island, keeping the guests at Mushroom House from getting any proper rest!

So Chef Huang takes the guests to the island to talk things over with Li Xiaomu.

Yanzi joins them wearing clothes printed with the flag of Japan.

As soon as they set foot on the island, Li Xiaomu kicks them out and angrily calls Zhao Xiaoyan a Japanophile.

As a result, Li Xiaomu is boycotted by Yanzi's fans.

As Mushroom House gets more exposure, Li Xiaomu's identity is gradually revealed.

The red flag flying high over the island is the flag of the Seventh Company, the Interspersed Force from The Battle at Lake Changjin.

The loudspeaker in Li Xiaomu's hands is the bugle of the Ninth Company from Assembly.

The anti-aircraft gun in the courtyard is the same one Zhang Fei used to shoot down the foreign planes in The Sacrifice.

The rifle hanging on the wall is the service weapon carried by the soldiers of the 524th Regiment in The Eight Hundred.

When Yixing and the others learn the truth, they are left dumbfounded, and people across the internet rush to apologize.

It turns out Li Xiaomu was the real-life inspiration for those war films.

But as Back to Field brings him into the spotlight, it becomes clear that these are only Li Xiaomu's most insignificant little secrets.
