American Comics: I, Homelander's Life Coach

Before any superheroes or villains have awakened, Li Wei transmigrates into this Marvel crossover universe and becomes their "life mentor."

A life mentor? Isn't that the person they sacrifice to the heavens?

Knowing just how dangerous it is to be the life mentor of superheroes and supervillains, Li Wei decides to keep a low profile.

But who would have guessed the System's very first mission would be to mentor Superman, with a Homelander template as the reward!

From then on, Li Wei sets down a path of no return. He becomes Superman's godfather, Batman's teacher, Iron Man's guide, and the Joker's only light...

So when Batman knocks Superman down with kryptonite, the last name Superman whispers before he dies is "Li Wei."

Batman: "You know Li Wei too?"

When these superheroes and supervillains meet, they all discover that they share a respected acquaintance named Li Wei!

By then, Li Wei has dropped the pretense of being a life mentor. Smiling, he says, "My name is Li Wei. The 'wei' means doing whatever I want."
