Journey to the West: I Just Became a Ghost Official, and Now I Have to Reap Sun Wukong's Soul

Gu Qingfeng discovers that he has transmigrated to the underworld of Journey to the West. After a thousand years of cultivation, he becomes a soul-reaping ghost officer.

As a soul-reaping ghost officer, naturally, he has to go collect souls.

His first assignment: Sun Wukong.

Gu Qingfeng: "Seriously? I just became a ghost officer, and you're already sending me to collect Sun Wukong's soul?"

Fortunately, he awakens the Invincible Soul-Reaping System. The more souls he collects, and the stronger his targets, the greater the rewards he receives.

In that case, let's set a small goal first: reach the Sage realm by collecting souls.

Sun Wukong, right? I'll take your soul!

King Yama, you dare act as a lackey for the Western Buddhist Sect? I'll take your soul!

Dipamkara comes to demand someone? I'll take his soul!

Patriarch Bodhi comes to back him up? I'll take his soul!

There are too many powerful people in the mortal realm, so my targets are too weak and the rewards are too small?

Then I'll spread the teachings among mortals and raise their strength!

Celestial Immortals from the Heavenly Court, Buddhas from the West.

Your time is up. Report to the underworld!

Fengdu: "Good grief, why don't you just take over as Great Emperor Fengdu?"

Houtu: "Effective immediately, Gu Qingfeng is appointed King Yama of the underworld and Qingfeng the Great. He will oversee all underworld affairs."

Buddhism: "Are you going to let anyone live?"
