Eerie: A Ghost Village from the Start

In a world gripped by a resurgence of terror, everyone takes pride in becoming a Ghost Controller. Their bodies become vessels for ghosts, containing all manner of spectral beings so they can fight ghosts with ghosts.

Yan Jian successfully awakens at the age of eighteen and becomes a Ghost Controller. But while everyone else awakens a haunted house, a graveyard, a ghost cave, and the like, he awakens a dilapidated ghost village...

The key difference is that the ghosts others can contain are things like hanged ghosts, water ghosts, and long-tongued ghosts. The ghosts Yan Jian's village can contain, however, are a little more unusual:

Lu Xiaofeng: "Village Chief, this ghost village is livable, but without fine wine or beautiful women, it's really rather dull."

Ximen Chuixue: "My sword is for killing people."

Yan Jian: "No, your sword can kill ghosts too."

Lin Jiu: "Village Chief, there are more and more ghosts in the village. I'm afraid I can't keep them under control by myself."
