Great Ming: Exiled Beyond the Frontier, I Unite Europe!

In the nineteenth year of the Hongwu era, remnants of the Northern Yuan repeatedly raid the frontier. But after years of war, the treasury is empty, so Zhu Yuanzhang decides to give the people a year to recover before marching north against the remnants of the Yuan the following year.

At this very moment, Prince Yu, Zhu Gui, steps forward and asks to be sent to guard the frontier beyond the passes. He even boasts that he will wipe out the remnants of the Yuan in three months, capture the Yuan emperor alive, and extend the Ming's northern border by over a thousand li.

A mere boy, so young and yet making grand claims about military affairs! All he can do is boast!

Zhu Yuanzhang flies into a rage. He changes Zhu Gui's title from Prince Yu to Prince Liao and banishes him to the frontier, where he can hone his military skills on the battlefield!

A year later, with the treasury replenished and the armed forces well equipped, Zhu Yuanzhang is sharpening his blades and preparing to lead an expedition north when he suddenly learns that Prince Dai, Zhu Gui, has already wiped out the remnants of the Yuan, offered sacrifices to Heaven and Earth at Mount Langjuxu, and is leading his army toward Europe.

Years later, Zhu Yuanzhang sits in the great hall, staring in a daze at kings from all over the world paying homage below him. The voice of Prince Yu, Zhu Gui, echoes leisurely in his ears, just as it did long ago:

"Father, look. This is the realm I conquered for you. Wherever the sun and moon shine upon mountains and rivers, it is all Ming territory!"
