Showbiz: Eliminated by the Mages, My Red Song Shocks the World

"I've never had any expectations of you. Your songs have never passed muster with me, not once."

"I think you should spend more time learning music theory."

"I'm sorry, but you're eliminated."

At the Rising Star live show, Lin Fei finished singing A Toast to Sorrow, only for Judge Hua to tear it to shreds and eliminate him on the spot.

So, for his farewell performance, Lin Fei sang My Motherland. The whole venue was stunned, and the entire music industry erupted. Official media praised him, and the whole nation celebrated!

What Lin Fei hadn't expected was that the publicity office would directly claim the song and use it as a tribute song.

At the same time, invitations poured in.

The national broadcaster invited him to write a theme song for its flagship show.

The military invited him to compose a song for a major tribute film.

The education authorities invited him to contribute to the cause of education.

Faced with increasingly "outrageous" requests from all these bigwigs he couldn't afford to offend, Lin Fei felt helpless.

Asking me to write songs is one thing, but why are you asking me to make movies too?

I'm just a little guy. I really can't take it!
