Back to Field: An Old Taoist Who Fought in the War Against Japan Is Exposed on Livestream

When the realm prospers, Buddhism flourishes, while the Daoists hide away in the mountains.

In times of chaos, the Bodhisattvas turn a blind eye, while the Old Lord takes up his sword to save the world.

"Master, what are you going to do this time?"

"Put down the rebels and bring peace to the land."

"Master, when will you return?"

"If I return, it will be in an age of peace! If I don't... then I won't."

The latest season of Back to Field takes place in an island village, a paradise far removed from the world.

There, the production crew meets an old Taoist priest, Li Changsheng, deeply respected and revered by the whole village.

Rumor has it that he was once a war hero who killed enemies and saved lives. His martial arts were peerless, and his medical skills were extraordinary.

But the more they get to know him, the more they realize there's far more to this old Taoist than meets the eye!

He has been involved in the background of many major events in China.

Like a guardian deity, he quietly protects the country.
