The Absurd Emperor Falls in Love with Biology

Zhu Houzhao, a shy graduate student in the biology department at Xichuan University, gets hit on the head by a bird's nest while play-fighting with his chubby girlfriend, Xiao Ya. Dazed and disoriented, he transmigrates to a spring hunting ground in the early Zhengde era of the Ming Dynasty, during the reign of Emperor Wuzong, Zhu Houzhao.

A chart-topping pop song wins over many eunuchs and palace maids who have spent their lives shut away behind the palace walls, and the emperor becomes a dazzling star. Even more amazingly, he understands the language of animals and the laws of nature, making him an idol to many. He's also eccentric and unpredictable, with one amusing anecdote after another. Though Zhu Houzhao was originally an idiot, he draws on the knowledge he learned in a later age to take down the Six Tigers and seize control of the government. He always finds a way through adversity and turns danger into safety. Styling himself General Zhu Shou, he personally leads an expedition against the Mongol Tatar forces, surviving one close call after another before winning a great victory at Yingzhou. He crushes the rebellions of Prince Anhua Zhu Zhifan and Prince Ning Zhu Chenhao, launching into a legendary life with cheat-like powers.
