War of Resistance: I, Kong Jie, Build a New Second Regiment from Scratch

During the Battle of Li Jiapo, Kong Jie transmigrated into Kong Jie!

After the battle, the brigade commander told Kong Jie to wait a few months, until the soldiers were trained, and then he would let him be a regiment commander again!

But Kong Jie refused!

Right there and then, he made a solemn pledge to the brigade commander: he wouldn't accept any help from brigade headquarters and would raise a regiment himself within three months!

So he took a platoon of soldiers and fought the Japanese while building up his forces!

He recruited the likes of Li Daben Shi, Long Wenzhang, and Zhou Weiguo, all brilliant talents!

Their equipment was constantly upgraded, too!

Three months later, the brigade commander entered the base area to see how the New Second Regiment was doing!

As soon as he entered the village, he saw a line of trucks roaring past with cannons in tow!

Then the cavalry battalion, artillery battalion, armored battalion, and special forces unit all made their appearance!

Kong Jie: Commander, I'm ashamed to say that after three months, I've only raised ten thousand men or so. I've barely managed to put together a reinforced regiment!

Brigade Commander: How about we switch places? You become the brigade commander, and I'll command the New Second Regiment...
