My Pancakes Were So Bad, an Escaped Convict Mistook Me for an Undercover Cop

After transmigrating to a parallel world, Liu Nian becomes a university student. One day, he watches his roommate's pancake stall while his roommate is away working a part-time job.

A fugitive happens to approach. He plans to grab a quick bite and then move on to continue his escape.

But he watches Liu Nian try to make a pancake three times, then four times, and still fail!!

"The owner looks like a beginner..."

Sweat beads on the fugitive's forehead. And now that he thinks about it, who sells pancakes in the middle of the day?

Then he hears Liu Nian answer a phone call: "We've almost cleared them all out. There's one left."

"Don't think you can skip lunch. Get over here, quick!"

At that, the fugitive takes off running!! Isn't that a classic undercover-police code?

Have all his accomplices been caught? Are they calling more undercover officers to come arrest him too?

"A pancake costs seven yuan, and you're trying to skip out on the bill?"

Liu Nian pauses, then chases after him on the spot!
