The Flutter in His Heart

Lin Che fell for Gu Yao when he started high school, though nobody knew, not even Lin Che himself.

Whenever another girl handed Gu Yao a love letter, Lin Che intercepted it, making sure not a single letter reached Gu Yao. He told himself it was all part of their brotherly bond.

Gu Yao was kind to every girl, and to the guys too. He never fell out with any of his friends, a perfect embodiment of the warm-hearted guy.

Lin Che could never stand seeing his childhood friend be so nice to everyone else...

The one time Lin Che slipped up, Gu Yao caught him intercepting a love letter addressed to him and rejecting the girl in Gu Yao's name. Gu Yao confronted him, and Lin Che began to question himself.

He quietly ran away.

What kind of running away? The long road to pursuing his man, as he finally pried open the truth behind their so-called brotherly bond!

When they met again,

Gu Yao fell silent for a long time. He took the cigarette from his lips and stubbed it out on the rooftop, dropping the cold, fierce act he put on around others and turning into a needy little sweetheart. "You ran away from me?"

Blushing, Lin Che turned his head aside. "N-no... I didn't."
