Showbiz: Enough Already, I'm Really Not That Miserable

Ten years ago, Su Mu left the entertainment industry for personal reasons after releasing three hit albums.

Ten years later, he suddenly joins a talent show on Penguin.

"I heard you donated all your earnings from the entertainment industry to build schools back then. Are you struggling financially now?"

"Uh..."

"Were you blacklisted back then?"

"I just went off to make money."

"So did you return to the entertainment industry because your business venture failed?"

"Uh..."

"A lot of people online say you're a washed-up singer. What do you think, at just twenty-eight years old?"

"Name someone and I'll see if I can make them washed-up by tomorrow."

Su Mu scratches his head. He thinks about all the digits in his total net worth, but they don't mean anything to him. They're just numbers.

And never mind all the skills he's picked up over the years. I'm also the founder of Penguin. It's not like my story's that tragic, is it?

Outside the live interview room, Director Huang's hand is trembling as he holds his cigarette. The box of tissues beside him has long since run out.
