A Song for the Taoist Nun, Wang Ye Comes to Hear Me Sing

Fang Hao, a singer who's been past his prime for years, decides to hold a farewell concert.

He once wrote theme songs for many classics from his previous life, including I Have a Daoist Friend, Ten Years in the Human World, and Scissor Assassin. But in this parallel world, none of them made much of a splash.

When news of the concert spread online, Fang Hao had been out of the spotlight for so long that he had practically no drawing power. Tickets were selling at a glacial pace.

On the day of the concert, the venue was nearly empty.

That is, until a laid-back young Daoist arrived with dozens of fellow Daoists.

A dark-circled young man in a purple robe bearing the character “Qi” showed up...

A cold-faced young man in a hooded sweatshirt arrived with a fat man and another young man...

And all sorts of other strange people began to show up!

When the song My Daoist Friend was performed, the laid-back young Daoist's eyes filled with tears. After Ten Years in the Human World, the trio fell silent...
