The Female Immortal Is Speechless: What Should I Do About My Overachieving Disciple?

The only thing the Zixia Fairy Ye Qingluan wants is to take it easy, but lately she's been fretting.

At this year's sect-opening ceremony, that rigid sect leader gave her an ultimatum: if Zixia Peak doesn't take on another disciple, her stipend will be cut off.

"What gives you the right!"

Ye Qingluan slapped the floor and sprang to her feet.

"As cultivators, we should strive ever onward, with the will to advance courageously! Do you really think a measly stipend can threaten me?"

But when she patted the empty storage pouch at her waist...

Ye Qingluan could only bow her head in bitter defeat.

Then she came up with a brilliant plan.

Take on a disciple with the worst aptitude imaginable, then leave him to his own devices.

That way, her senior brother would understand that she wasn't cut out to be a teacher, and she could happily go back to taking it easy!

"My name is Lu Zuo. I'm a transmigrator."

"After failing to find the path to immortality sixteen times, I was lucky enough to be accepted as a disciple by the renowned Zixia Fairy."

"I swear I'll repay her properly."
