On the Nature of God

Beneath an eclipsed sky, a young man crouches atop a heap of corpses dozens of meters high. A pair of demonic wings sprouts from his back, and his eyes gleam blood red.

In the year 12211, a meteorite crashed to Earth, bringing catastrophe upon the world. Humans infected by it became the walking dead, invading every nation without restraint.

But among the humans who should have been infected, one became an exception. He gained the abilities of the walking dead while retaining his human characteristics.

He yearns to become the strongest person in the world, or perhaps a great soldier. After enduring countless trials between life and death, will he achieve his wish?

"If gods really exist in this world, how am I supposed to defeat one now? I'm going to become the strongest!"

In human records of civilization, the existence of gods is glimpsed only in passing. We cannot say for certain that they exist, but we cannot say they don't, either.

How many gods are there, and how powerful are they? Can humanity defeat them? These are all unknowns, because the gods themselves are a mystery.
