Honghuang: From Buddha to Demon, I Slay My Way Up to Spirit Mountain

"Why should putting down the butcher's knife let you become a Buddha on the spot?!"

"Why can countless demons attain enlightenment just by joining the Buddhist faith, then run wild as they please?!"

"Why can the gods and Buddhas in heaven condemn people as demons with a single word, and decide who lives or dies just as easily?!"

"If this is Buddhism, then what makes someone a demon?!"

After transmigrating into the primordial world and sitting in meditation beneath a reliquary pagoda for ten years, Su Jiu still harbors demonic thoughts and cannot attain enlightenment!

Since he harbors demonic thoughts and cannot attain enlightenment,

Su Jiu resolutely takes up a blade, his murderous intent surging. Those who follow him become Buddhas; those who oppose him become demons!

With his butcher's knife in hand, every step atones for a sin, every step brings forth a lotus. He turns from Buddha to demon, devours gods and Buddhas, storms Mount Ling, and brings nirvana to all Buddhas!
