Damn It, I Only Wanted to Leave the Sect, Yet I Became the Chief Disciple of the Jie Sect

Zhou Chen, who had just escaped the Tribulation of the Sorcerer-Slaying, was dismayed to discover that the Daoist who saved him was a disciple of the Jie Sect.

As someone familiar with the course of the Primordial World, this left him more than a little frustrated...

The shadow of the Great Tribulation of Investiture of the Gods and the Jie Sect's destruction kept growing in his heart. From that moment on, the seed of betrayal began to sprout.

Diary of a Sect Defector

Strange. I've already told Master the Jie Sect has no future and is doomed to fall sooner or later. Why hasn't he defected with me yet?

Year 3,000 since joining the sect. So annoying. That old man brought three junior sisters and wants me to teach them? Taking disciples at a time like this? Does he think our karmic debt isn't deep enough?

Year 4,000. The three junior sisters came back from an outing with a big brother in tow. He's also a member of the Jie Sect, damn it, and keeps asking questions all day. So annoying.

Year 5,000. I heard the human race has unified the world out there. Damn it, if I don't defect soon, the Investiture of the Gods is going to begin.

Year 10,000. Holy crap, what's wrong with this old Daoist? The Investiture of the Gods has already begun, yet he's brought me all these Jie Sect disciples and told me to keep them from going out and causing trouble?

Huh! They called me their eldest senior brother? What's going on?
