A Martial World Beyond the Vast Expanse

Before the World Round Table, the five Great Heretical Gods stared at the image in its center.

In the mirror, a mortal floated through a universe surrounded by dark matter. With a sweep of his hand, faint cracks began to spread across the round table. He swept his hand down again, and the cracks widened in an instant.

The Supreme Council Hall issued an announcement: within the limited period from Blue Star Year 4023 to 4026, expand and establish around twenty-eight outposts. At the same time, establish Relay Stations Two through Five within thirteen light-years of every seven outposts in each of the four directions. Their long-term goal was to build vast, expansive mechanical planets in the shattered universe, capable of supporting large human populations.

The World Round Table crumbled, and humanity began drifting through the stars. Was a god toying with them, or was this the game of a higher-dimensional life-form?

A terrifying cosmic virus was trying to infect humanity. Was this a counterattack from beyond the dimensions?

Or were they merely pieces on a chessboard, at the mercy of whoever moved them? Be a hero, or be a pawn? The choice is yours...
