I'm a Sun Envoy of the Underworld, and My Merit Bank Starts with 100 Million

Zhang Wen went to visit the grave of a brother who had died an untimely death.

Then, when he got home, he had a dream.

In the dream, his brother gave him an anonymous account.

Would he really donate 100 million just like that?

Why not make money with money instead?

Could he use tenfold leverage to get started?

He burned a cartload of spirit money every day, forcing the Bank of the Underworld to revise its exchange rates.

Every day, he started by donating 5 million, then 10 million, then 50 million, accumulating boundless merit.

What should he do with all that merit? Open a bank, of course.

King Qin Guang: "Brother Zhang, I'll put the Book of Life and Death up as collateral."

Zhang Wen: "How much do you want to borrow? You know the rule: borrow nine, repay thirteen."

King Qin Guang: "Of course, of course. I'm on the verge of a breakthrough, so I'll just borrow 100,000."

Zhang Wen: "Sure. Your credit limit is a million. Want to borrow a little more?"

Judge: "Brother Zhang, here's 10,000 merit points. Can I get my soul-hooking brush back now?"

Zhang Wen: "Sorry, you're still short by 3,000."

Judge: "But I only borrowed 7,000!"

Zhang Wen: "Oh, I must have mixed you up with Ma Mian."
