I Saw Through Zhao Gao’s Schemes from the Start, and Great Qin’s Technology Soared

In the thirty-second year of the First Emperor's reign, Ying Zheng made an imperial tour east and entered Xianyang in disguise.

There, he met Li Mu, a divine fortune-teller.

Li Mu: "Your Majesty, the servant Zhao Er in your household has an extraordinary destiny, unmatched under heaven."

The First Emperor was stunned!

Li Mu: "He brings ruin to his father, his mother, and the Great Qin. Doesn't that make his destiny extraordinary, beyond compare?"

Zhao Gao: "Your Majesty, this is a false accusation! He must be a remnant of the Six States, trying to sow discord between ruler and minister."

Ying Zheng: "He dares frame the Imperial Preceptor? Behead him!"

On this day, Li Mu became the Imperial Preceptor, shocking the court and the countryside. Thus began the Great Qin's path to technological ascension.
