Disaster strikes, and a corrupt darkness engulfs the planet. Earth's heart, the Sacred Spirit Tree, is contaminated as well.
Humanity evolves amid the disaster, slaying monsters known as demonkin and carving out hope in the wasteland.
But just then, the corrupt darkness grows ever stronger, dragging humanity into another trial of awakening.
At that very moment, a holy radiance bursts from beneath the earth and shoots into the sky, dispelling all corruption with its light of hope.
The one who seizes this light of hope is a human high school student named Ye Xuanyun.
The light of hope, named Zhan Bai, transforms from a snow-white sacred dragon into a human girl.
