In the Great Qing, I Make Yongzheng Kneel from the Start

After transmigrating into the role of Li Wei, a small landowner in Jiangnan during the Kangxi era, he loses his family fortune right from the start.

As luck would have it, Fourth Prince Yinzhen and Thirteenth Prince Yinxiang are on their way to Yangzhou to provide disaster relief, passing through Jiangxia Town.

Li Wei forces Yinzhen off his horse, makes him kowtow and crawl through his legs. Yinzhen, furious beyond measure, orders General Nian Gengyao of Hangzhou to wipe out Jiangxia Town. What a clever move, killing with a borrowed knife!

Li Wei takes the opportunity to seize all the wealth of Liu Banu, the local tyrant of Jiangxia Town,

but in doing so, gets caught up in the bloody struggle among the Nine Princes for the throne.

Kangxi: Li Wei has slaughtered innocents and recklessly passed judgment on right and wrong.

Though he has rendered service to the court, we cannot indulge or tolerate him.

Have him swiftly escorted back to the capital and taken to Wumen Gate for execution, as a warning to others!
