Great Tang: Li Er Intercepts My Letter Home, Exposing My Identity

After transmigrating to the Tang Dynasty and activating a System, Li Hao chooses to farm like crazy and quietly build up his strength.

By chance, disaster strikes Chang'an, and his well-to-do adoptive father happens to marry into a family there. Li Hao casually writes him a letter.

But, unfortunately, a carrier pigeon delivers the letter straight into Li Shimin's hands.

"Dad, be careful. Smallpox is serious, so don't go wandering around. If you do go out, get vaccinated against cowpox first."

"Dad, life as a live-in son-in-law isn't easy. You don't have to spend all your time at Pingkang Ward. I've got a prescription here called Liuwei Dihuang Pills. Take some when you have time and look after yourself."

"Dad, live-in sons-in-law have no rights. Here's a curved-plough design. If you have time, make a few and sell them as a side business. Then you won't have to watch everyone else's mood all the time."

"Dad, if you really can't manage any longer, come back. I won't look down on you. Our crops yield thirty or forty dan per mu, so it'll be easy to feed you."

"..."

The Tang Dynasty is changed by letter after letter! Li Shimin is so grateful he weeps and appoints Li Hao Imperial Preceptor.

One day, he brings the letters to find Li Hao, intending to welcome him back to court. But then he suddenly realizes that Li Hao's identity seems a little unusual.
