One Is Enough

"Wife, Ying'er wants to have a baby." Hua Nongying leaned against Yun Poyue, one hand resting on his round belly.

"Why does Ying'er want a baby? Isn't it nice to enjoy life as a couple?" Yun Poyue asked, puzzled, as she held her sweet-smelling, soft Hua Nongying.

"Wife, we can enjoy life as a family of three." Does his wife not like children? Hua Nongying wondered.

"Once Ying'er has a baby, you won't be my only one anymore." She didn't want a little baby competing with her for her darling husband. Her soft, sweet husband belonged to her alone.

"Ying'er wants to be your one and only. Ying'er doesn't want a baby anymore." He was the most important person in his wife's heart.

Yun Poyue smiled as she held Hua Nongying.

She, Yun Poyue, needed no one but Hua Nongying.
