Great Ming: I Petition to Open the Seas, and Xu Miaoyun Pressures Me to Marry Her

After transmigrating to the Ming dynasty, Zhu Bai became the twelfth son of Zhu Yuanzhang. He couldn't help feeling helpless.

In the fourteenth year of Hongwu, Zhu Yuanzhang issued another ban on maritime trade, but Zhu Bai's golden finger insisted on going against Zhu Chongba.

The old Zhu wanted to ban maritime trade, so Zhu Bai, who had transmigrated here, submitted a memorial calling for the ports to be opened. He boldly declared that he could bring in ten thousand taels of gold in half a year and pacify the Japanese pirates within a year.

Zhu Yuanzhang and the ministers paid him no mind.

Old Zhu: "Forget half a year. I'll give you a whole year, boy. If you can't get it done, you'll stay in Fuzhou forever!"

When the news spread, everyone watched for the show. Xu Miaoyun, however, immediately pressured him into marriage. Zhu Di was dumbfounded, and Zhu Bai was stunned too.

Everyone was left speechless. Xu Da, far away in Beiping, could only fret helplessly.

A year later, ship after ship of Zhu Bai's gold arrived in Yingtian Prefecture.

Until everything the sun and moon shone upon across the seas became the territory of our Great Ming.

"What? Zhu Yunwen, you want to strip the princes of their fiefs? Are you sure?"
