Dong Fei transmigrates to the 2015-16 season. After activating the System, he becomes a streetball sensation, rising from the local scene all the way to Rucker Park, winning countless fans and taking the world by storm!
That year, the NBA was entering the small-ball era in full force.
Even big men who had no business doing anything else started practicing their three-pointers.
Dong Fei's arrival completely turned the game on its head.
O'Neal: Dong Fei is here, so all you little cuties better stay away from the paint!
Howard: The sky is my limit, but for Dong Fei, it's just the starting point!
Curry: Every era has its own king. Three-pointers can't match dunks for accuracy...
Dong Fei: I'll show the world just how fearsome our great nation can be, my way!
That year, Kobe's farewell tour was no longer the main attraction. Who knows what kind of effect a butterfly on the Amazon might have on the future?
But right now, one line from TNT commentator Shaquille O'Neal is making the rounds worldwide.
"Dong Fei's a real one, bro. Give him the ball and he'll throw it down!"
