Showbiz: The Poorest Director, Begged by the Whole Internet to Accept Donations

Chen An transmigrates into a parallel world, becomes a director, and activates the "Poorest Director System."

He can only make films on tiny budgets, and he has to donate his earnings to receive System rewards.

And so:

He shoots My Own Swordsman for less than 100,000 per episode and makes a fortune of 100 million. Then he donates 100 Hope Primary Schools.

He shoots Love in the Courtyard for a total budget of only 4 million, yet spends 200 million establishing homes for the elderly.

For Conquer, he puts all his earnings into a college student financial aid foundation. The only requirement to apply is that recipients stay in the country after graduation.

For Dying to Survive, he invests 1 billion in developing low-cost, life-saving medicine.

Because he never hires popular stars, Chen An is once dubbed the stingiest director around.

But when the truth is finally revealed, netizens across the internet burst into tears.

"Director Chen isn't stingy. He really has no money."

"He donated everything he earned, and even bought his house with a mortgage."

"Director Chen, stop scrimping. We'll crowdfund your next film."
