Great Qin: Mythic Prehistory, Summon the Hundred Schools and Slay the Ancestral Dragon

After the Investiture of the Gods, before the Journey to the West;

The primordial world shattered. The Sages reforged the Four Great Continents, then withdrew into chaos;

Trillions of humans died at the hands of the Sages. The Human Path collapsed, and the Human Emperor was no more;

The Earthly Path crumbled, the cycle of reincarnation was devastated, and its authority was stolen;

Humanity dwelled on the Southern Continent during the Warring States era,

where demons devoured people, ghosts killed people, Buddhists deluded people, gods toyed with people, and devils destroyed people;

Humanity had no powerful warriors, and its traditions had vanished.

There had never been a darker period in history.

The rulers of the Seven Kingdoms rose in rebellion, killing demons, ghosts, devils, gods, and Buddhists,

seeking to unify the realm.

But the Wu and Yao, gods and devils, dragons and phoenixes, ghosts and Buddhas all set their sights on humanity.

The masters of the Hundred Schools plotted for humanity, reopening the path to myriad arts and seeking to exterminate them all.
