Great Ming: Xu Miaoyun Demands I Break Off the Engagement at Swordpoint from the Start

He transmigrates to the Ming Dynasty and becomes Zhu Yuanzhang's third son, Zhu Gang, Prince of Jin.

To keep his bargain-basement father from thinking he's an idle good-for-nothing and punishing him, he writes Dream of the Red Chamber, causing a huge sensation.

For a time, paper in Jinling becomes priceless.

As a prince, he naturally can't reveal his identity.

So no one knows that he is the author of Dream of the Red Chamber.

One day, Zhu Yuanzhang decides to arrange a marriage for his son.

Unexpectedly, when word gets out, Xu Miaoyun, daughter of Duke of Wei Xu Da, storms into the prince's residence with a knife.

“You must swear not to marry me, or I'll kill you with one stroke.”

Zhu Gang is baffled. “Marriage is arranged by one's parents and matchmakers. Why are you coming to me?”

Xu Miaoyun: “I don't care. I'm not marrying you. I'll only marry the talented scholar who wrote Dream of the Red Chamber.”

Zhu Gang: “???”

Empress Ma: “Silly child, it was my third son who wrote Dream of the Red Chamber.”

Xu Miaoyun is dumbstruck...
