The Legends of Yan and Huang

With faith in decline, the gods falling, and no one to take their place, the divine world created the Merit Officer system to keep up with the times and spur mortals to cultivate immortality and ascend to godhood. By taking on assignments, they could earn virtue points to exchange for cultivation and divine positions.

The elder brother, reincarnated from Zhulong, became a Merit Officer at the Five Thunder Court. His younger brother, meanwhile, followed his example in secret alongside his friend Qinglong. Working openly and behind the scenes, the brothers helped Cheng Yaoming rapidly rise above the rest in moral merit, but also made him a figure feared by the Thunder Generals and even Lord Pu Hua, Wen Zhong.

Just as the Five Thunder Court and the Exorcism Court, long at odds, began competing for talent, how would the brothers continue cultivating and accumulating merit while navigating the divine world's power struggles?
