I've Been Home Too Long, and Now the Plants Are Talking to Me

"Hello! Is this the emergency line? I need to report something!"

"Go ahead."

"Officer, something huge has happened! The plants in my home suddenly started talking!"

"Sir, please stay calm. What exactly happened?"

"This morning, I tried to grab groceries on Dingdong, but I didn't get any... Then the potted plants at home suddenly started talking to me!"

"Sir, is anyone else at home with you?"

"No, I'm the only one here."

"Well, sir, this isn't something we handle. I'll give you another number. Please call them for advice..."

Utterly bewildered, Lin Feng has no choice but to call the other number.

"This is a friendly reminder from the XX City Mental Health Center. Dear residents, if you start chatting with flowers and trees during lockdown, that's perfectly normal. There's no need to call us for advice. You only need to seek help if those flowers and trees start answering your questions. Thank you for your understanding and support."

Lin Feng freezes on the spot.

"Damn! Are you people crazy or what..."
