Showbiz: What Is This Song? Even I Could Do Better

Su Le transmigrates to a parallel world and becomes an assistant director on a major singing competition show.

The judges, the lights, the singing... everything is proceeding smoothly.

A group of people in the backstage area watch the screen and enjoy the music.

"That sounds great. No wonder they're a favorite to win!"

"..."

Su Le looks baffled. The lyrics are good? The singing is good?

You've got to be kidding.

What are these lyrics? They're forcing rhymes just for the sake of it. Isn't that ridiculous?

He lights a cigarette and sneers, "What kind of rubbish is that? I could do better myself!"

The next second, everyone freezes.

It's not for any other reason: they're all backstage staff, and they had their microphones turned off.

But Su Le forgot to turn his off.

Now the judges and the contestants on stage can all hear him...

Just then, the song on stage ends.

Everyone's face darkens.

A voice dripping with contempt rings out: "If you can do better, get up here and sing!"

"You're just a lowly assistant. You don't know your place!"
