The Empress Plays the Pig to Eat the Tiger, but Then She Meets Me

After Xia Qingli, the empress of the Great Xia Dynasty, broke through to the Earthly Immortal realm and became unmatched under heaven, she grew bored. To pass the time, she decided to play the pig to eat the tiger.

Xia Qingli traveled the land, and before she knew it, she had arrived at a third-rate sect called the Sanyuan Sect.

The Great Xia Dynasty was a super-first-rate dynasty, making a third-rate sect like this the perfect place for her to play the pig to eat the tiger.

Ready to play the pig to eat the tiger, Xia Qingli strode toward the Sanyuan Sect. Just then, a gray-robed young man sweeping the ground blocked her path.

As luck would have it, the dead leaves he was sweeping dirtied Xia Qingli's dress.

Furious, the haughty and aloof Xia Qingli was just about to lash out when the gray-robed young man said calmly,

"My lady, you're in my way!"

Equal parts annoyed and amused, Xia Qingli could take no more. She unleashed a killing move, intent on wiping out his entire sect.

But the gray-robed disciple emerged without a scratch, and a world-shaking battle began...

Years later, Empress Xia Qingli knelt before the very same gray-robed young man and begged humbly,

"Master, please accept me as your disciple."
