Ghosts? Don't Worry, I've Got Connections Down Below

Lin Yi, a homebody, transmigrates into another world and wrecks himself right from the start.

After taking advice from an old ghost, he gets the idea to possess someone else's body and be reborn.

He carefully picks out a target, hoping to possess them and live a carefree life where everything goes his way.

Instead, he nearly gets himself killed all over again. He hides in his Host's sea of consciousness, pretending to be a System, but still dreams of getting his body-snatching plans back on track...

Lin Yi meets Ling'er, a little underworld messenger.

Lin Yi: "Little Ling'er, I've missed you so much. Did you bring me any local specialties?"

Ling'er: "Big Brother, I'm here on a mission this time..."

Lin Yi: "Oh, I see. I've got something to do, so I'll be off."

When trouble strikes.

Underling: "Boss, there's a ghost!"

Lin Yi: "Don't be afraid. I've got connections downstairs. Hold them off for me, brother. I'll go call for backup..."

Daily life for Lin Yi and his Host.

Host: "Xiao Yi, why hasn't the reward for the last mission arrived yet?"

Lin Yi: "Uh... The System is updating, so the reward is delayed. The exact date is still pending. Please be patient, Host..."
