Synopsis: The State Administration of Cultural Heritage discovers a secret map hidden inside an antique dragon-head sanxian. After deciphering it, they learn that it leads to the tomb of an ancient Dali emperor, buried in a hidden valley deep in the Cang Mountains, beyond the reach of satellite surveys. Archaeology professor Chen Hai is ordered to lead his students and a platoon of special forces soldiers on an archaeological expedition to survey and excavate the site.

Unexpectedly, on the fifth day after entering the Cang Mountains, the archaeological team's satellite signal suddenly vanishes. After that, not a word is heard from them...

The State Administration of Cultural Heritage senses that something is wrong and immediately requests help from the Paranormal Investigation Bureau, asking them to send a team to rescue the group.

Upon receiving the request, the bureau orders agent Liu Ming to take rookie Wang Jiudao with him on the rescue and investigation mission in the Cang Mountains...
