Overturning Every Merciless Calamity

He never knew what he was thinking, what he had thought, or what he ought to do. He only knew that whether he succeeded or made a mistake, something else would happen because of it, and he would have to deal with that too. Little by little, he grew indifferent and stopped wanting to think.

But the consequences of any action could be good or bad. As long as he hadn't left this world, he had to keep moving forward. Even if he merely sat still, hardship would eventually find him. So why not turn misfortune into good fortune?

Move forward, then fall, then rise again, fighting ever more fiercely with fearsome excitement.
