The Silent Light

Have you ever seen what it looks like when someone's eyes are gouged out, their heart and lungs ripped open, and their liver and kidneys torn free? Blood mixed with severed intestines and ribs spills across the floor, along with a shattered stomach. Do you know what that looks like? Do you know about the heap of bones piled like a little mountain in the corner? Flies make camp on the corpses, maggots set up shop inside them, and the stench of rotting flesh fills the whole room. Even now, the thought makes me tremble all over.

Oh, right. Do you know how I know all this so well? Because I'm chained up in that corner. Hahaha. I'm next.
