Journey to the West: Crafting an Unconventional Eighty-One Trials!

Tang Sanzang transmigrates into the Primordial World of Journey to the West, becoming the Heaven-ordained pilgrim tasked with obtaining the scriptures. His System is useless: it gives him no cultivation, pills, or magical treasures, promising only that he will become a Sage and Ancestor after surviving the eighty-one tribulations.

But that doesn't matter, because I'm invincible from the start!

Years later, the gods and Buddhas of the myriad heavens look back on the calamity Tang Sanzang brought about, one that swept across the Primordial World, and ask him:

"Why Journey to the West?"

"Staying in Great Tang was too boring, so I headed west to find some fun."

"Why pass on your Three Burials scriptures?"

"Just looking for fun."

"Then why enlighten Black Tiger A Fu, turn Two-Boundary Mountain into Spirit Mountain, create a whole God of War lineup for Sun Wukong, and put us through eighty-one tribulations?"

"For fun."

"Then why, after tearing down Spirit Mountain and the Heavenly Court, did you congratulate our Buddhist school and the Heavenly Court on their great prosperity?"

"A major construction project is also a sign of great prosperity."
