Showbiz: I Started Playing Leslie Cheung with Ashes of Time

Zhang Sheng transmigrates to a parallel world and becomes a minor extra on a film set.

As luck would have it, he arrives while Wong Kar-wai is filming Ashes of Time in the desert, and the production is missing someone to play Ouyang Feng.

The actor who was supposed to play Ouyang Feng was bitten by a scorpion on the very first day of location shooting in the desert and had to be rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Just as Wong Kar-wai is about to call it a day and head home, Zhang Sheng fuses with the Brother template and volunteers to audition for Ouyang Feng.

His explosive acting immediately stuns Wong Kar-wai!

"Years later, I had a nickname: Poisonous West. Anyone can become vicious, as long as they've experienced jealousy."

"I once heard someone say that when you can no longer have something, the only thing you can do is make sure you don't forget it."

Later, he becomes Cheng Dieyi, who "cannot live without madness"; He Baorong, who says, "Lai Yiu-fai, let's start over"; and Xu Zai, the young A Fei, who says, "From now on, we're friends for one minute."
