The League: It All Started with the Emperor of the Sands

In ancient times, Shurima was the most prosperous civilization on the entire continent of Valoran.

The Ascension of their last emperor, Azir, failed.

As a result, their once-prosperous cities sank beneath the earth and became a sea of yellow sand.

Now, the bloodline of his descendants has brought the emperor back to life, while also lifting the seal on the wraith.

Their struggle has once again plunged Shurima into an era of bloodshed and turmoil.

One wants to rebuild the empire, while the other wants to rule the world.

Both want to kill the other.

Just then, a mortal happens upon a greatsword.

The soul within the greatsword gradually devours the mortal, transforming his appearance into that of a red demon.

"I am Aatrox, the End of the World."

From that moment on, Shurima is caught between three rival powers.
