Son: Having Parents Like This Is Really Embarrassing

Renowned scientist Zhou Guangbai appears on a small variety show and uses his invention, a time-reversal machine, to revisit the past.

He accuses his parents of causing his grandparents' deaths through their laziness, of never caring for him or taking responsibility for him as a child, and even of threatening to stop him from going to school.

They interfered with his life choices, sabotaged his friendships, demanded a monthly pension from him, and made him lend money to relatives who had bullied him in the past.

He says having parents like these is humiliating, and that they left him without love.

When he has the past appear once more, everyone is furious at first.

Then they discover that both his parents were gravely ill, yet still did everything they could to support their son's education.

They criticized and even berated him because they were worried he would slack off in his studies.

They drove away everyone who might distract him, all the while silently keeping an eye on everything he did.

They demanded a pension and had their son lend money to others only because they worried he might fail someday and wanted him to have something to fall back on, so he wouldn't end up with nothing like them.

At that moment, countless people were moved to tears.
